The "MOUNTAINTOP" comes to Houston

The Bayou Theatre Company presents: THE MOUNTAINTOP by Katori Hall Memphis – April 3, 1968. A storm rages as we see a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. shuffle into Room 306 of the Lorraine Motel after delivering his “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop” speech in support of a labor strike. He is visited by Camae, a hotel maid burdened with a mission far more important than serving coffee and a newspaper. Hall's Olivier-Award winning play is hilarious and insightful re-imagining of Dr. King's last night on Earth. SHOW RUN: Chelsea Market Theatre 4617 Montrose Blvd. Houston, Texas 77006 Friday, July 14th, 2017 8pm Saturday, July 15th, 2017 3pm & 8pm General Admission: $20 Student Admission (w/ Student ID): $15 Please call tel:713.963.9665 for additional information or visit http://www.bayoutheatrecompany.org! #BTCS4 #BTCMT
