Comedian Kevin Fredericks Spoofs Rapper Tobe Nwigwe
It's a "Whole Pandemic"
Comedian Kevin Fredericks, @kevonstage on Instagram, spoofs Houston Rapper Tobe Nwigwe's "Twisted Sunday" tradition. Almost every Sunday, Tobe Nwigwe, known for "EAT" and "TRY JESUS", has famously released a new song and a music video to accompany it. In his videos, Nwigwe religiously features his wife, Fat, his music producer, LaNell Grant, his two daughters, and his background dancers, the Black Angels.
This last Sunday, instead of releasing his own song, Nwigwe posted a video of Kevin's spoof, "Whole Pandemic". The spoof video includes Kevin Fredericks, his wife, Melissa, business partner, Angel Moore Tanksley, her son, Amar, and background dancers. This song, "Whole Pandemic", and performance are almost identical to the type of content Tobe Nwigwe shares.
It's All Comedy
Captioning the post, "NO WORDS... just tears. @kevonstage HOW??? WHY??? WHEN??? 😂", Tobe Nwigwe shares that he speaks to Kevin regularly, and he never told him about the video until the day of. Fredericks comments that he wanted to share it with him as soon as it was edited, but he couldn't. The entire comment section was full of laughter and jokes.
Kevin Fredericks and his company, KevOnStage Studios, are well-known for spoofing movies, music videos, and cultural jokes to promote his comedy show. He has gone viral for spoofing Malcolm & Marie, BeBe and CeCe Winans' "Addictive Love", and Sisqo's "Incomplete" music video to name a few. Check out the video below!
