This past week I had the esteemed pleasure of participating in Fashion District Houston Fest. I can hear you asking now: Ashley what is the Fashion District Fest?
Fashion District Fess is a festival inspired by and in admiration of fashion. Connecting designers and shoppers with a six-day fashion week experience at City Center in Houston. It’s 6 days with 11 charitable fashion shows featuring interactive runway shows, in store event, fashion workshops, panel discussions and exclusive parties. Lovers of fashion, design, beauty, photography and blogging can sit in on workshops led by industry leaders. Guests can get their hands a little dirty making stuff, drinking cocktails, and most importantly leave entertained, informed, and inspired. It’s the prefect mix of shopping and education, Fashion District Houston brings hand-selected executives, editors, designers, stylists, and bloggers together discuss fashion topics. The main goal of TFD: TALKS is to satisfy the needs of fashion enthusiast who are tech savvy, fashion forward and ready to connect. All proceeds of the events will be benefiting the Toxin Youth Foundation's design and construction of The African American Performing Arts School in Houston's Historic Third Ward. Visit Toxinyouth.org to learn more about the youth foundation.
