14-Year-Old Graduates with Physics Degree
Carson Huey is not like most 14 year olds. At age 11 instead of playing outside or getting ready for the transition to middle school, Carson enrolled at Texas Christian University. He will graduate May 13, 2017 with a degree in physics at the age of 14, only to go along with the double minor in math and Chinese.
When he was 3, Carson told his mother he wanted to learn calculus. She felt it was strange but still listened to her son by taking him to a public school. They were basically told he was to smart and the school had no place for him there. He continued on going through each grade until graduating high school at 10. Carson has a younger sibling who will be enrolling at TCU next year at 11 also, when Carson will be starting his first year of grad school there.
