There you are!” his mother Marquita Hackley, told ABC News. “And then to hear him say, ‘I saw my mom, and she was very pretty,’ was so heartwarming.” “Aside from pretty, just the fact he could even see me meant the whole world to me.”

Though the goggles cost $15,000, mom is determined to raise the money with help from her community. Christopher and his mom, Christopher and his mom, Marquita, hopes the new technology will open more doors for the precocious pre-teen.
