Kanye Helps Rich Wilkerson Spread "The Gospel"

Miami pastor, Rich Wilkerson wants to help prepare you for the storms of life through his new book Sandcastle Kings. Pastor Wilkerson is best known as Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West's spiritual advisor and can also be seen through his reality show on Oxygen’s "Rich in Faith."

This past November, the pastor released his first book, Sandcastle Kings, with a little help from Kanye West, who designed the cover. Wilkerson believes combining his message and Kanye's artistic influence is a powerful and strategic move to help him spread the word of God.

When interviewed at Rapzilla he said, “I think the content of the book is what I believe to be life changing. It's the greatest message in the world, the gospel. It's Christ's message and we're just carriers of it because the content is so rich, I want to make sure the cover had some sort of pull in,” said Wilkerson. “I wanted it to be great, and I just feel like the church throughout history has always called upon the world's greatest artists in their time period whether they were believers, non-believers, whether or not they always agreed with their message or not.”

In the book, he uses four powerful stories from the seventh chapter of Luke to explain why spiritual fulfillment cannot be found in our on self, in other people, in material things, or even in religion. Wilkerson wants us to understand that Jesus is the only thing worth building your life on and until you turn to him you will never experience the lasting peace and joy you so desperately crave.
