Do You Know? Reconcile
Ronald Stephen Lillard, Jr. better known by his stage name Reconcile has been an artist looking to inspire change in the youth culture. through hip hop.
While still a senior in college, at Houston's Rice Univeristy, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree (Triple Majoring) in religious studies, philosophy, and sociology; His first album Abandoned Hope was released in March 2012, with Full Ride Music, which is a label started by rapper Thi'sl. The project received over 45K downloads and garnered the attention of producer Street Symphony.
Reconcile parted ways with Full Ride, in part to focus on building an urban ministry in Houston. In addition Reconcile formed a non-profit (Live Frontline) that helps mentor at risk teens on probation in inner city Houston, TX.
The second album, Sacrifice, released in 2014, with Frontline Movement, was his Billboardchart debut album. Sacrifice charted #3 on iTunes Hip Hop and debuted on the Billboard charts, landing placement on the Top Rap Albums at No. 20. Keep pace in September 2015 he released an EP Catching Bodies with Track Or Die (Founded by Grammy-winning producer Torrance "Street Symphony" Esmond) which charted at No. 20 with US Billboard Christian Albums.
Being a fisher of men is a little more intense than Sunday School where Reconcile comes from. Gangs, Drugs, Violence, Poverty, Police…..the list goes on. But there is a way out. JESUS!!!
